Festival Players Concert Tour The committeee is delighted to announce that the Festival Players will be embarking on a short 'tour' of Cambridge and the surrounding villages in February of 2010. Subject to confirmation, we will be performing concerts at Godmanchester Primary School (19 Feb), Foxton Village Hall (20 Feb), The Vine School, Cambourne (26 Feb) and St Faith's School, Cambridge (27 Feb). The concert will feature a range of solos, duets and ensemble numbers from musicals, loosely based around a theme. 50 per cent of all profits will be donated to charities, with the main overall beneficiary being Red Balloon (http://redballoonlearner.co.uk/). In some cases, this 50 per cent will be shared with a local charity, such as The Vine School and the Foxton Church Fund. The Concert Tour is being coordinated by Warren and Tommy. |
